R & D Microbiologist (Preferably Male)

Qualification:

M.Sc. (Microbiology /Biotechnology/Life Sciences)

Preference for candidates who have Qualified National/State level competitive examinations such as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT - NET or GATE-Life sciences/BET and having valid certifications

Experience:

Minimum 2 year of work experience in Microbiology/Industrial microbiology.

Job Description:
  • Isolation of pure cultures (bacteria/algae/fungi) from various ecological sources.
  • Examine physiological, morphological and cultural characteristics using microbiological tools and other biochemical parameters.
  • Maintenance and preservation of different cultures
  • Basic knowledge of fermentation including commonly used down streaming procedures and willingness to work in shifts (Including Night shift) as and when required. Batch trails at 20–100L fermentation scale.
  • Collecting, preparing and testing samples and analysis.
  • Scientific calculations and interpretation of results.
  • Studying the scientific literature and making a product development plan.
  • Laboratory stock and resources management.
  • A Good team worker and should coordinate with peers and colleagues for completing tasks in time bound manner
Complementary Skill Set required
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, word and power point
  • Scientific writing and presentation.
Renumeration:

Remuneration RS 15000 to 25000. month during probation period of 1 year. Candidate would be offered a position in the company after successful completion of probation subject to the performance during probation period. Candidates would also be offered stock options in US based Avisa Myko Inc after completion of probation.

Trainee Bioprocessing/Biotechnology(Male)

Qualification:

BTech /BE ( Biotechnology / Bioprocessing )

Preference for candidates who have Qualified National/State level competitive examinations such as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT - NET or GATE-Life sciences/BET and having valid certifications

Experience:

0- 2 years . Candidates having prior industrial expertise in in microbiology/biotechnology.

Job Description:
  • Basic knowledge of fermentation of microbial culture including commonly used down streaming procedures and willingness to work in shifts ( Including Night shift ) as and when required
  • Batch trails at 20-100 liter fermentation scale .
  • Enginnering and scaleup of the process
  • Collecting, preparing and testing samples and analysis.
  • Scientific calculations and interpretation of results .
  • Scientific calculations and interpretation of results.
  • Studying the scientific literature and making a product development plan.
  • Laboratory stock and resources management.
  • A Good team worker and should coordinate with peers and colleagues for completing tasks in time bound manner
